2007 MySpace Campaign
2007, I constructed a (now defunct) MySpace page with an interactive petition and native wildlife audio that gained international recognition. The campaign protested the proposed site for a sewage treatment plant to serve Snowshoe Mountain Resort requiring eminent domain of the historic Sharp Farm of Slatyfork, West Virginia. The petition collected thousands of online signatures, emails and phone calls to then-West Virginia Governor, Joe Manchin.
In March 2008, we won! The eminent domain controversy is over.
